Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin which reduces in amount with age, leading to a reduction in firmness and elasticity of the skin. Injecting a dermal filler softens lines, improves elasticity, and restores volume - leading to a more youthful appearance.

The treatment takes up to half an hour, and benefit is seen immediately with the results lasting up to 6-9 months. It is not a permanent procedure.
